BECOME PART OF OUR FAMILY

There are so many ways to get involved in our ministry at BMYR. If you are interested in partnering with us as a volunteer, donor, in our community support program, or assisting us in fundraising efforts, please contact us to find out ways you can help us to further our mission of providing the hope of the gospel of Jesus to kids in Northwest Arkansas.

We could not run without our volunteers. They are the heart and the cornerstone of our ranch, interwoven into all aspects of our program. Our volunteers have gifts and talents and readily give their time to help us work towards our mission and vision for children in our community.

Our volunteer training program covers many aspects of what we do at the ranch and why we do things the way we do. We apply the latest trauma-informed guidance when it comes to interacting with guests, volunteers, staff and our equine partners. All of our volunteers attend a training on the foundational principles and core values at BMYR. Our mentors don't just pour themselves into our kiddos, but we also spend a lot of time investing in our volunteers as well. We want to utilize our program to build them up in ways that will benefit them in their lives outside the ranch.

Administration

One area where we frequently need help is with administrative tasks. If you enjoy doing office, computer, organizational, or scheduling work, we have tasks you could help us with. Our administration team is critical to BMYR, and we wouldn't get one foot set in the pasture if our administrative team wasn't setting up all the behind the scenes work.

Horse Handling Volunteers

Our mentoring program is the heart of what we do at BMYR. We need volunteers who enjoy working with horses in a variety of capacities. We need people to catch, brush, feed, care for, and help exercise our horses in addition to mentors who are trained in our program to work directly with children who come to the ranch.

Farm Work

If working directly with horses is not your thing, we still have many other ways you can use your time and hands to help out on the ranch. We always have work that needs to be done - farm projects, maintenance, gardening work and too many other things to list. If you like being outside, we definitely have things you can do at BMYR.
